Siberian Husky Shedding

Raising Two Siberian Huskies
We welcomed two Siberian Huskies to the family on Christmas Eve 2010 and could not be happier. Originally we were only shopping around for one but after talking with friends and family we were convinced that two would be easier than one. So far this has been the best decision we could have made, Panda and Kolu do everything together.
Since we got them during the winter months shedding was not a concern but now that its warming up and the hair is falling out we had to do something. To prevent a major cleaning each day we looked for preventative maintenance on our huskies. A friend pointed out the benefits of the Furminator. It grabs loose hair from under the coat before it hits the ground.
Proper use of the Furminator would be to first brush hour dog with a wire brush for pets to remove any knots or debris in their fur. After they are prepped you take the Furminator and use it like any other brush. After the first stroke you will see how much hair your wire brush left behind.
Warning: if your pet has any soars or bad areas under its fur then please avoid those areas while using the Furminator.
On another note you can find the same product at some local pet stores but for a higher price than you see on Amazon. Hope this article helps anyone with a shedding problem in their house.

I agree the Furminator is a must have for a Northern Breed dog. If you visit my hub I made on this you can see pictures of my female juno after a brushing session. This is what you have to look forward to once your pups get bigger!
They're beautiful!
Wow, that is a lot of hair. Looks like we are in for a treat this summer.
Thank you.
